Hostboards.com was rapidly growing and their current system – vBulletin wasn’t scaling as well as they wanted. Added to this mix was the merging of another web hosting forum. Exoboosters.tech was approached to help identify a way forward that would allow their members to continue to enjoy the latest news and deals within the web hosting world.
Acquiring a popular forum and merging into another would need a clear strategy
Merging different forum databases – users and posts is never a straightforward task. Exoboosters.tech compared various alternatives and presented a set of options to the client. From this set, VanillaForums was chosen.

- Merging Users and Posts to Vanilla forum format
- Organizing Categories & Sections on the new forum
